Chilling. It may be too late for Americans, but Canadians need to wake up to the existential threat we, too, are facing.

The discussion about US-Canada relations ignores the Seaway which goes through Quebec and Ontario to the US Midwest. All we have to do is to tear up the present deal and start a tariff increase on US ships using OUR resources to compensate for our increased tariffs to the US.

We can not just turn of electricity to US towns, ordinary Americans will be hit hard by that. WE must hit the US economy in general rather than ordinary Americans.

Well and strongly stated, David. I agree! As for Taiwan, that's a bit more nuanced IMHO. But I don't want to divert from the immediate challenge facing Canada.

Taiwan, Ukraine, Palestine, and many other international political issues are more nuanced that gets discussed under the Dominion of Canada. This is one of the areas that the Liberals in Canada and the Democrats in the USA miss where citizens are (vs where the media and elites are).

Canadian Parliamentarians and new citizens still need to swear allegiance to King Charles, and I have doubts that what is happening with Musk or Trump will be adequately recognized as foreign interference.
