Excellent article. However, how do we pay for the change forced on us? We need to remove costly obstructions to a national economy and remove costly obstacles to that economy. It is ridiculous that Quebec operates a separate income tax system rather than co-operate with the Federal system as do all other provinces. That would save literally billons of dollars of public and private resources. Quebec's linguistic restrictions have to go as regards the internet which is supposedly Federal anyway. National rather than Provincial standards for jobs such as nursiing and
medical qualifications in general would create a cheaper more effective medical system.
We have coasted far too long and should have a national perspective about everything rather than an expensive series of Provincial perspectives. Bureaucracy in Canada needs to be reduced sensibly not in a Trumpian fashion but in a gradual but definite fashion.
Voted. Donated. Fingers crossed.
Thanks David-great perspective
